You will be met upon your arrival in JRO; and transfer to Hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha/Tarangire
After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park; the park is spectacular and it is well known for its large herds of Elephant population. Spend the day exploring the park, later in the late afternoon leave and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire
After breakfast leave for more game drives in Tarangire, Spend the day exploring the park. Lunch at the lodge or a picnic in the park. Later, drive to the camp for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire/Ngorongoro
After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short-grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and many games, later in the late afternoon leave the crater and drive them to the camp on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro/Piyaya
Leave Ngorongoro for an on-route game drive to Piyaya the border of Ngorongoro and Serengeti with an optional ($60/group) visit of Maasai village, and an optional ($36/person) visit to Olduvai Gorge. Lunch as a picnic lunch while on a game drive, later in the day proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Piyaya/Engorika Plato
Leave Piyaya with a picnic lunch and start to walk to Engorika Plato which will take us 6-7 hours with landscape and game viewing on route camping and overnight at Engorika Plato.

Day 7: Engorika Plato/Orkarian Gorges
Leave Engorika Plato with a picnic lunch and start to walk down to Orkarian gorges, explore the beautiful parts of Orkarian gorges. Later in the day proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Orkarian gorge/ Sanjan River
Leave Orkarian gorges and hike throughout the open plain up to Sanjan River, this will take us 6-7 hours of hiking enjoying the scenery and landscape with a picnic lunch on route. Proceed to the camp for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Sanjan/Mosonik hill
Today after breakfast leave Sanjan River camp and start hiking to Mosonik hill enjoying the beautiful landscape and game viewing on the route which will take us 5-6 hours hiking, arrive for hot lunch at Mosonik camp. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the camp.

Day 10: Mosonik hill/Lake Natron
After breakfast at Mosonik hill, we will leave for a 4 to 5 hours hike to Lake Natron, arrive at the camp for hot lunch. Relax at the camp later in the day you can go for a swim in the river if you wish to. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron.

Day 11; Ol’doinyo Lengai summit and back to Lake Natron campsite
Today very early in the morning at the drive to the base of the Ol’doinyo Lengai mountain to start the climb so as to gain as much height as possible in the cool of the morning reach at the summit during sunrise and spend some time there before coming down to the base of the mountain. From there, clients will be transferred by jeep to the camp for shower and rest. Sun hats and a large water intake are essential. Descend by the same route. Great care should be taken on the way down loose volcanic gravel on the bare rock makes it perilous going in places. Bringing trekking poles is very helpful. Overnight at Lengai Safari lodge.

Day 12; Half day tour at Lake Natron/Engaresero Village
Walking Tour around Lake Natron After a delicious breakfast drive to Lake Natron, with your local guide. Lake Natron is an alkaline lake that serves as the principal breeding site for three-quarters of the world’s population of Lesser Flamingos. Leave for an on-route visit to a Maasai “Boma” village. You will have time to interact with Maasai people and learn their culture and day-to-day activities. After a tour and activities at Lake Natron, we will return to camp for hot lunch and preparation to drive back to Arusha.
