11 – Day safari

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport

You will be met upon your arrival in JRO, and transfer to Hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha/Tarangire

After breakfast, leave Arusha drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch; the park is spectacular and it is well known for its large herds of Elephant population. Later in the late afternoon leave and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:  Tarangire

After breakfast leave for more game drives in Tarangire, Spend the day exploring the park. Lunch at the lodge or as a picnic in the park. Later, drive to the lodge for clients to relax and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire /Serengeti

After breakfast leaves the park with packed lunch and drives to an en-route game drive to Serengeti national park. Afternoon game drives in search of the predators and the herbivores the feed on the Serengeti Savannah.

Day 5: Serengeti

After breakfast, we leave for a full-day game drive in central Serengeti in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the rolling plains of Serengeti savannah. The Park contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, herbivores are abundant on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere in the world.  Serengeti is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work. Lunch at the lodge/camp or as a picnic lunch while on a game drive.

Day 6: Serengeti

After breakfast, we leave for a full-day game drive towards western Serengeti. The Park contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, herbivores are abundant on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere in the world. Serengeti is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 350 species, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work. Lunch at the lodge/camp or as a picnic lunch while on a game drive, later in the evening proceed to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight,

Day 7 – 8: Serengeti

Day 9: Serengeti/Ngorongoro

After breakfast, we leave more game drives in Serengeti in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the rolling plains of Serengeti savannah. The Park contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, herbivores are abundant on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere in the world. Serengeti is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, believed to be in the region of 350 species, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work. Lunch at the camp or as a picnic lunch while on the game drive. Later in the late afternoon leave and drive back to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight on the crater rim.

Day 10: Empakai crater Tour

Today we will leave with a picnic lunch for a full-day hike to Empakai crater. Spend the full day exploring the dramatic Empakai Crater, with a lake on the Crater floor and the entire caldera encircled by a steep, densely forested wall, Empakai is a scene of vast natural beauty. On clear days the Crater offers views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, Tanzania’s most recently active volcano. The steep slope calls for a degree of fitness, but the walk through the lush forest, with its ancient strangler figs and rich birdlife, is well worth the effort. The trail continues to the lakeshore, where you can view water birds such as flamingo. A caved-in volcanic caldera, Empakai Crater stands at 300 meters in height and more than six kilometers in width. Rippling at its heart is Empakai Lake, an 85 meters deep alkaline pool that envelops three-quarters of the crater’s floor. Standing at Empakai Crater’s imposing rim, you can see landmarks, such as the distant fleecy snows of Kilimanjaro far on the eastern side of the Valley, the Great Rift Valley, and Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano along your hiking sojourn while taking in the glorious sights, you are sure to spot a profusion of animals including blue monkeys, buffalo, bushbucks, waterbucks, and an extensive array of kaleidoscopic birdlife. Later in the day leave and ascend to the crater rim where you will be picked and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Ngorongoro/Arusha

After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater exploring the short-grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many games, then later in the late afternoon leaves the crater and drives back to Arusha and proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
