10 – Day safari

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

You will be met upon your arrival in JRO, and transferred to Hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha / Tarangire

After breakfast, leave Arusha drive to Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch; the park is spectacular and it is well known for its large herds of Elephant population. Later in the late afternoon leave and drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire

After breakfast leave for more game drives in Tarangire, Spend the day exploring the park. Lunch at the lodge or as a picnic in the park. Later, drive to the lodge for clients to relax and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire /Lake Manyara (Safari or Cultural tour)

After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch and drive for a Morning game drive safari in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is home to colorful birds, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos’ antelopes, and other animals. Or instead of game drive safari in Manyara, we drive to the nearby Mto wa Mbu area (7kms from Manyara park’s gate) to do an approximately two hours’ cultural tour which will include visiting banana/rice plantations as well as walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants. We will drive back to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Karatu /Serengeti

After breakfast leaves with packed lunch and drives to an on-route game drive to south Serengeti. Afternoon game drives in search of the predators and the herbivores that feed on the Serengeti Savannah.

Day 6 – 7: South Serengeti [Ndutu]

After breakfast, we leave for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu area (The wilder beast migration breeding site). This is a unique location to witness the Wildebeest Migration comprised of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and other resident animals all year round in the area ungulates congregate on the Serengeti plains around the Southern Serengeti/Ndutu area, which takes place from December to March each year. Lunch at the lodge/camp or as a picnic lunch while on the game drive

Day 8: Serengeti/Ngorongoro

After breakfast, we leave for a more game drive in the southern Serengeti in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the rolling plains of Serengeti savannah which is also famous for lions and contains a wide variety of birdlife, with lunch at the lodge/camp or as a picnic lunch while on the game drives then later in the late afternoon leave and proceed to an on-route game drives to Ngorongoro with optional ($60/group) visit of Maasai village, and optional ($36/person) visit to Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the lodge/camp or as a picnic lunch while on the game drive

Day 9: Ngorongoro/Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, leave with a picnic lunch and descend into the Crater exploring the short-grass plains of the largest intact caldera in the world. The crater enjoys its enduring charm stems from the overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lions, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many games, then later in the late afternoon leaves the crater and drives to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Lake Eyasi/Arusha/Departure

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will leave for a walking safari visiting the Bushmen village to learn about their daily activities (culture) and you can have an optional 4-5hours for hunting tour, later in the day drive back to the lodge for lunch then leave and drive to back to Arusha and proceed to the airport for your departure flight.
